  American Geriatrics Society (AGS)
The AGS is the premier professional organization of health care providers dedicated to improving the health and well-being of older adults. It has an active membership of over 6,000 health care professionals.
 
  Canadian Association on Gerontology (CAG)
The CAG is a national, multidisciplinary scientific and educational association established to provide leadership in matters related to the aging population.
 
     Canadian Health Network (CHN)
CHN is a national, non-profit, bilingual web-based health information service. Its goal is to help find the information on how to stay healthy and prevent disease. This network of health information providers includes Health Canada and national and provincial/territorial non-profit organizations, as well as universities, hospitals, libraries and community organizations.
 
  Canadian Health Services Research Foundation (CHSRF)
The CHSRF promotes and funds management and policy research in health services and nursing to increase the quality, relevance and usefulness of this research for health-system policy makers and managers. 
   
  Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)
CIHR is Canada's major federal funding agency for health research. Its objective is to excel, according to internationally accepted standards of scientific excellence, in the creation of new knowledge and its translation into improved health for Canadians, more effective health services and products and a strengthened Canadian health care system.  
  
  Canadian Study on Health and Aging (CSHA)
The CSHA is a study of the epidemiology of dementia in Canada. It has followed over 10,000 elderly Canadians over a ten-year period from 1991 to 2001, collecting a wide range of information on their changing health status. 
  
  Centre de recherche, Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (CdeR, IUGM)
The Research Centre implements research on health systems and services as well as biomedical, clinical, social, cultural, and other factors that have an impact on the elderly. The research is based on the integration of different disciplines as well as the interconnection between research and clinical activities.

  Editrice Kurtis
Founded in 1973, Editrice Kurtis publishes 12 journals and a number of monograph volumes edited by leading experts in various disciplinary areas. 
 
  Gerontological Society of America (GSA)
The GSA is a non-profit professional organization with more than 5000 members in the field of aging. GSA provides researchers, educators, practitioners, and policy makers with opportunities to understand, advance, integrate, and use basic and applied research on aging to improve the quality of life.
 
  Health Canada Funding Programs (HCFP)
The Office of Health and the Information Highway (OHIH) was created in the summer of 1997 as Health Canada's focal point for all matters concerning the use of information and communications technologies (ICTs) in the health sector.  
  
  Home Care & Community Care Evaluation & Research Centre (HCERC)
The HCERC was launched at the University of Toronto in 1998. Its goals are to facilitate the collaborative creation and dissemination of knowledge related to the settings in which health care is sought, delivered, and received. 
  
  International Journal of Integrated Care
International Journal of Integrated Care is a joint project of Utrecht University, Maastricht University and Groningen Unversity, The Netherlands.
 
  Manitoba Centre for Health Policy (MCHP)
MCHP is a research unit in the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Medicine. MCHP does research on the health of Manitobans. We examine patterns of illness in the population, and study how people use health care services.
 
 

National Institute on Aging (NIA)
The NIA, one of the 25 institutes and centers of the National Institutes of Health, leads a broad scientific effort to understand the nature of aging and to extend the healthy, active years of life. The NIA’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of older Americans through research.
 

  National Quality Measures Clearinghouse (NQMC)
NQMC, sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is a public repository for evidence-based quality measures and measure sets.
   
  Program of research on Integration of Services for the Maintenance of Autonomy. (PRISMA)
The PRISMA research program brings together the expertise of researchers from the Centre St-Augustin de Beauport (Québec) and from the Research Center on Aging of the Sherbrooke Geriatric University Institute, an establishment affiliated with the Université de Sherbrooke.

The Directory is a tool producedin partnershipwith three Quebec granting organizations which lists scientists in all fields of research that further the growth and international stature of Quebec.
